I believe music has a unique ability to reach people emotionally, create moments of joy and familiarity, and bring people together in meaningful ways.
I’m a Board-Certified Music Therapist based in Edmonton, Alberta, with a Master of Music Therapy from Wilfrid Laurier University. My professional background includes over two years working on the palliative care unit at Grey Nuns Community Hospital, where I supported patients and families through music during some of life’s most tender moments.
Today, I’m the founder of Songs We Share, an Edmonton-based service offering in-home music therapy and personalized music experiences for seniors and families in the comfort of home. My work focuses on using familiar music to encourage connection, participation, comfort, and emotional wellbeing through interactive music experiences, music therapy, and adaptive music lessons.
I also serve as Director of Membership on the Board of the Music Therapy Association of Alberta, supporting connection and advocacy within the music therapy community across Alberta.
